What We Offer

Every Service, Clearly Explained

Full Groom

Our full groom is the most comprehensive service we offer. It covers everything from arrival to pick-up — a complete care routine designed to leave your dog clean, comfortable, and looking their best.

The session includes a pre-bath brush-out to remove loose hair and loosen tangles, a thorough bath with a coat-appropriate shampoo, a conditioning rinse, professional blow dry, full brush-out, breed-appropriate haircut or trim, nail trim, ear clean, and a finishing spritz.

Suits: Dogs requiring a full coat reset — particularly long-haired, curly-coated, or fast-growing coats that need regular shaping.

  • Pre-bath brush & de-tangle
  • Bath with quality shampoo & conditioner
  • Professional blow dry & brush-out
  • Breed-appropriate trim or cut
  • Nail trim, ear clean, paw tidy
New Clients Welcome

Puppy Introduction Groom

A puppy's first grooming visit sets the tone for every one that follows. We take this seriously — the session is shorter than a standard appointment, slower in pace, and focused on positive exposure rather than trying to achieve a perfect result at speed.

During a puppy groom, we introduce tools gradually, use gentle handling throughout, and give plenty of reassurance. We'll bathe your puppy, do a light brush-out, tidy around the face and paws, and give their nails a trim if they're comfortable.

Suitable from: 12–16 weeks, after vaccination is complete (please confirm with your vet).

  • Calm, unhurried introduction to the grooming process
  • Gradual tool introduction (dryer, clippers, brush)
  • Light bath and brush-out
  • Face, paw, and nail tidy
  • Advice for owners on at-home brushing

Quick Visit

Bath & Blow Dry

Not every visit requires a full trim. Our bath and blow dry service is ideal for dogs who need a clean up between full grooms, or for short-coated breeds who mainly need their coat refreshed rather than styled.

We use a shampoo suited to your dog's coat and skin type, follow with a conditioning rinse where appropriate, and then blow dry thoroughly and brush out. This leaves the coat clean, fresh, and properly dried — avoiding the damp issues that come with incomplete drying.

  • Bath with coat-appropriate shampoo
  • Conditioning rinse
  • Professional blow dry
  • Full brush-out
  • Optional nail trim add-on
Seasonal Treatment

De-shedding Treatment

Dogs with double coats shed significantly — and during seasonal transitions, that shedding can become overwhelming for owners. A professional de-shedding treatment removes the loose undercoat that would otherwise end up on your floors, furniture, and clothing.

The process involves a pre-treatment bath with a de-shedding shampoo and conditioner to loosen undercoat, followed by blow drying and a thorough brush-out using specialist de-shedding tools. The result is a coat that's lighter, cleaner, and sheds significantly less at home for several weeks.

Suits: Labradors, Golden Retrievers, German Shepherds, Malamutes, Huskies, Border Collies, and any other breed with a dense double coat.

  • De-shedding shampoo and conditioner
  • Professional blow dry
  • Specialist undercoat removal tools
  • Reduces at-home shedding significantly

Nail Trimming

Overgrown nails affect the way a dog walks and stands, putting unnecessary strain on joints over time. Regular nail maintenance is a small but meaningful part of overall dog care — and many owners find it difficult to manage at home, especially for dogs that are sensitive about their feet.

We trim nails to a safe, comfortable length and file the edges where needed. We take our time with dogs that are nervous about this process, using calm handling and gradual approach.

Nail trimming is included in most full groom appointments and can also be booked as a standalone visit or add-on to any other service.

  • Safe, carefully judged trim length
  • Filing for smooth edges
  • Gentle handling for sensitive dogs
  • Available standalone or as add-on
Special Care

Sensitive Dog Grooming

Some dogs find grooming genuinely stressful — whether from past negative experiences, lack of early socialisation, anxiety, or age-related discomfort. We approach these sessions very differently to a standard appointment.

For sensitive or anxious dogs, we prioritise communication and patience above efficiency. Sessions may be shorter and more focused. We use slow, deliberate movements, give plenty of breaks, and adapt to what the individual dog can manage comfortably. We'll also share what we observe about your dog's stress signals and what seems to work best.

If your dog has specific triggers or a history of grooming-related anxiety, please mention this when you get in touch — it helps us prepare the right approach from the start.

  • Calm, unhurried handling throughout
  • Shorter sessions available
  • Reading and responding to stress signals
  • No aversive restraint methods
  • Owner communication about what works

Style-Specific

Breed-Specific Grooming

Many breeds have traditional grooming styles that owners prefer to maintain — Schnauzers with their distinctive beard and eyebrows, Poodles with their various recognised clip styles, Spaniels with their feathered leg and ear trim, and so on.

We're familiar with the standard cuts and styles for a wide range of breeds and are happy to work from reference photos if you have a particular look in mind. We'll always have a conversation about expectations before we start so there are no surprises.

  • Familiar with standard cuts across many breeds
  • Work from reference photos where helpful
  • Pre-groom style discussion
  • Practical everyday alternatives to show cuts
Hygiene Focused

Hygiene Care & Sanitary Trim

Some dogs — particularly those with longer coats — benefit from targeted hygiene trimming in addition to or between full grooms. This includes trimming around the sanitary area, between the paw pads, around the face and eyes, and inside the ears where hair growth can be problematic.

Regular hygiene care helps prevent matting in problem areas, keeps your dog cleaner between baths, and reduces the risk of moisture-related skin irritation. It can be added onto any service or booked as a focused standalone visit.

  • Sanitary area tidy
  • Paw pad hair removal
  • Face and eye area trim
  • Ear hair management where needed

Service FAQs

Questions About Our Services

Do prices vary by breed or size?
Yes — grooming time and complexity varies significantly by breed, coat type, coat condition, and size. We'll provide a quote when you get in touch with us. We aim to be clear and upfront about pricing before your visit.
Can I request a specific style or trim?
Absolutely. We're happy to work from reference photos and will discuss your preferences before we start. If your dog's coat condition means a particular style isn't achievable at this visit, we'll let you know and suggest alternatives.
What if my dog's coat is matted?
We'll assess the coat when your dog arrives. Minor matting can usually be worked through as part of the session. Severe matting may require additional time or, in some cases, a clip-down to remove the mat safely rather than pulling through it — which can be painful and stressful for the dog. We'll always discuss options with you before proceeding.
Is it safe to groom dogs with skin conditions?
Please let us know if your dog has a diagnosed skin condition or is currently receiving treatment. We can use sensitive or medicated formulas where appropriate. However, we're groomers — not vets — and can't diagnose or treat skin issues. If you're unsure, check with your vet before booking.
